The United Kingdom recently created civil partnerships. Jo Spain at Family Matters Blog has published a series of articles on the subject. Maybe it is time for Indiana to think seriously about this subject instead of allowing ourselves to be roiled by proposed marriage amendments? I think anyone interested in the subject - pro or con - can learn a bit from reading these articles.
