New legal center opens in Marion County

The Indiana Lawyer Daily reported on New legal center opens in Marion County that sounds like it could be useful for some of you visiting this blog from Indianapolis:

"The center will provide resources and referrals for various services such as domestic violence, protective orders, substance-abuse treatment options, and how to find an attorney. Residents filing pro se will be able to view videos that walk them through the self-representation process, as well as use public-access computers and receive assistance from a trained law librarian about how to use the Indiana Supreme Court's self-help Web site."

The staff of the Family Court Project will be located in the new resource center in the west wing of the City-County Building, Room W -125, 200 E. Washington St., Indianapolis.
