Indiana Law: No-Fault Divorce

Indiana is a “no fault” state when it comes to divorce. This means that regardless of the reason, the couple shall be granted a divorce upon the showing that there has been a breakdown in the marital relationship to the extent that the objects of matrimony have been destroyed, and there remains no reasonable likelihood that the marriage can be preserved.
