Child Advocates Inc. is offering additional downtown orientation sessions this month for those interested volunteering as a child advocate for Marion County youth in child services and the foster care system.
The orientations are during a lunch hour. The first session is from 11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Sept. 16 at Lewis & Kappes, 2500 One American Square, Indianapolis. The second orientation is from noon to 1 p.m. Sept. 19 at Baker & Daniels, 300 N. Meridian St., Suite 2700, Indianapolis.
In July, Child Advocates Inc. began offering orientation and training during lunch hours at law firms in Marion County. For more information about the orientation and future training sessions and dates, contact Child Advocates at (317) 205-3055 or visit www.childadvocates.net.
