I never knew polygamy was such a hot topic

Seems that polygamy is making the news.

The Family Law Prof has two posts from March 27 . One, Bill Would Deny Custody to Husbands Engaged in Polygamy, comes out of Arizona and is about legislation pending there, and the other is just titled Polygamy in New York which links to a New York Times article.

Somehow all that lead me to this CBS News piece from January 27: Utah Polygamy Ban Challenged. Old news made a bit more piquant in relation to the posts from the Family Law Prof. By the way, the Utah case was dismissed in 2005 and the Supreme Court turned down the appeal in 2006.
