I ran across a publication for the Scottish Parliament about Divorce Procedure. Interesting to see how other places handle divorces and has left me wondering why this kind of manual would not be a help to the general public over here.

It was very useful but I would just like to point out it has not been updated since the Family Law (Scotland) Act 2006 was introduced. The principle changes were the introduction of certain rights for cohabitants, the abolition of desertion and a reduction to 1 year's separation with consent or 2 years' separation without consent as a reasons for the marriage breakdown.
